Graham Williams

Graham joined EPLA as Managing Director in June this year and moved back to his roots in West Wales after living in Kent for over thirty years. He previously worked in Greenwich supporting businesses in winning Olympic contracts and has been a business consultant for the last ten years. Graham is enjoying the challenge of growing the Intelligent Worming membership but also in being able to support Swansea City and the Scarlets rugby team after a long time away. Graham has not had his own horse since childhood but spends his leisure time fishing for wild trout in some very wild and far off places.

Diane joined EPLA 8 years ago after a career in commercial and financial management. She has first hand experience of Intelligent Worming, and its operation in a large yard, as it has been working at her livery yard since she joined EPLA. She has her own Trakehners Emily and Kiera and is pictured here with her son Luke and his pony Harry. Diane is our senior consultant and an expert in designing and managing Intelligent Worming programs. Her specialism is in designing workable programs for the larger livery yards.

Claire Willcocks BA (Hons) DipM ACIM

Claire joins Intelligent Worming as Technical Manager, having previously worked in the industry for the manufacturers of Equest and Equest Pramox as Assistant Product Manager, she has over six years experience in equine parasites and anthelmintics. Claire is AMTRA qualified and achieved the NOAH Best Student Award.

Based in the New Forest on the South Coast, Claire will be contributing to Intelligent Worming from her office at home, out and about in the road as well as from the offices in Carmarthen. Claire’s roles will include technical support and programme designing.

With two horses of her own, Comet and Tally, Claire can offer an understanding to horse owners and help explain the complex issue of worming in a straightforward way. Her passion for horses and enthusiasm to do things as they should be will promote the concept of responsible worming.

Helen Coleman

Helen achieved an MSc and BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at Hartpury College, on graduating she took up a position at the British Horse Society where she was promoted to Head of Welfare, after 4 years in this position she then took over the British Riding Clubs, Competitions and Tourism department. Helen married in December 2008 and moved back to Pembrokeshire and joined Intelligent Worming since being with the company she has obtained her SQP qualification. Helen’s spare time is spent looking after her two ponies, dogs and goose!

Simon Daniels
KTP Associate with University of Liverpool

Simon joined Intelligent Worming as a KTP associate linked to the department of veterinary science at the University of Liverpool in July of this year. His varied equine background includes practical work on yards, having completed a one year pre farriery training course and equine insurance all of these experiences helped Simon to determine the carrier path he wanted to pursue. Simon then completed BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at the University of Lincoln, with a focus on equine nutrition and gastroenterology; upon graduation he gained employment as an Equine Nutritionist at Allen & Page for 3 years, providing customers with individual diet plans for their horses.

Outside of work Simon has a keen interest in eventing, he has a young horse called Muffin which he bought as an un-backed 3 year old, he has put a lot of time and effort into the backing and training process and is now starting to reap the rewards. Muffin is now 5 and starting to go out competing at show jumping and dressage and he hopes to event her in the future.

Tracey joins the team as a Business Development Executive, having previously worked as an Area Manager for Dengie Horse Feeds, Tracey combines her passion and knowledge of the equine industry together with a successful career within a sales and marketing role. Tracey is thrilled to be joining Intelligent Worming at such an exciting time and welcomes the challenge of continuing to grow the Intelligent Worming portfolio. Tracey is at her happiest when being around or involved with horses, any spare time that she has you will find her riding her TB X-racehorse around the beautiful Welsh countryside!

Angela O’neill

Angela has spent her life with horses. Starting from her teenage years riding around the Kent countryside on her pony ‘Rocky’ and leading to a dedicated career in the equine world. She passed her BHSAI exam at an early age, and worked her way up from groom to yard manager on a number of yards from riding schools to competition yards. She also holds the Amtra SQP Saddler qualification and joined Intelligent Worming 10 years ago, having relocated from Surrey. This wealth of experience means your Intelligent Worming programs are in safe hands.

Fiona Townsend

Fiona is new to the Intelligent Worming team having completed both a degree and postgraduate diploma in Equine Science at Aberystwyth University. She is currently undertaking her own personal parasitology research for her dissertation which will enable her to graduate with a Masters degree in July 2011. She has been riding horses for 16 years and in her spare time enjoys hacking and jumping her Welsh cob mare. Fiona combines her scientific knowledge with her practical experience to aid in designing the worming programmes and to help customers do the best for their horses.

Tanya Edwards

Tanya left Ysgol Y Preseli in 1997 having completed A-Levels, she then completed and passed two years of a History Degree. Since 1999 Tanya worked in the catering and hospitality industry, before starting a family in 2003 and becoming a full time mum. Tanya enjoys sports and has a real passion for painting and drawing.

Molly Tombs
Customer Service Representative

Molly joined Intelligent Worming in April of this year as an Equine Services Advisor. She has ridden horses all her life in various disciplines, from Mounted Games to ODE’s. She currently has 8 horses at home to keep her busy and specialises in the care of veteran equines, 6 of them being over the age of 17! When not tending to their needs, she enjoys competing in BHS TREC, regularly competing at championship level.

Howard Thomas

Howard joined the team in August to support the existing sales team. Prior to his appointment Howard worked as a building surveyor as an Architectural Assistant in South Wales and London on a variety of domestic and commercial projects. Howard’s previous sales experience has been within financial services.

In his spare time, Howard is interested in visual arts and loves the Welsh countryside.

India graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a HND in business management and has joined the Intelligent Worming team as part of the Customer Service team dealing with customer accounts.

India enjoys spending her spare time riding her show ponies and competing on them, she has enjoyed many appearances at Horse of the Year Show as well as being second place at the 2009 event. Throughout 2009 India worked for Team Thomas who travel the country all year competing at shows, the team lifted the supreme title at last years HOYS and India still helps out now on the weekends.
