Meet the Team
Graham Williams Managing Director

Graham has been Managing Director of EPLA Ltd since June 2009 when he moved back to his roots in West Wales after living in Kent for over thirty years. He previously worked in the travel goods industry as well as business development and consultancy. This included supporting businesses in winning Olympic contracts worth over £12million. Graham has been enjoying the challenge of growing the Intelligent Worming membership but also developing the in-house laboratory service. He is a proud Swansea City supporter especially after reaching the Premiership for the first time in 2011. Graham has not had his own horse since childhood but spends his leisure time fishing for wild trout in some very wild and far off places.

Diane Gilby RSQP FCCA Senior Equine Consultant
Technical and Commercial Director

Diane joined EPLA 8 years ago after a career in commercial and financial management. She has first hand experience of Intelligent Worming, and its operation in a large yard, as it has been working at her livery yard since she joined. She has eight of her own horses and ponies including her prize Trakehners Emily and Kiera and is pictured here with her son Luke and his pony Harry. Diane is our senior consultant and an expert in designing and managing Intelligent Worming programs. Her specialism is in designing workable programs for the larger livery yards.

AngelaO’neill Programme Controller
Angela has spent her life with horses. Starting from her teenage years riding around the Kent countryside on her pony ‘Rocky’ and leading to a dedicated career in the equine world. She passed her BHSAI exam at an early age, and worked her way up from groom to yard manager on a number of yards from riding schools to competition yards. She also holds the Amtra SQP Saddler qualification and joined Intelligent Worming 10 years ago, having relocated from Surrey. This wealth of experience means your Intelligent Worming programmes are in safe hands.

Cheryl Royall
Senior Business Development Manager
Cheryl joined Intelligent Worming in September 2011 as Senior Business Development Manager and Customer Ser vices Manager. After achieving a BSc (Hons) and Masters in Business related disciplines, she went on to head up a Marketing and Communications Department for a large Engineering & Construction Company in Malaysia. Upon returning to London she worked for an international advertising agency in London implementing global advertising campaigns.
Cheryl worked with horses earlier in her career, grooming for an international show jumper, working with show cobs and teaching after becoming BHSAI qualified. Cheryl is delighted to be back working in the equine industry and plans to get back in the saddle in the spring after quite a few years break!
HelenColeman Equine Programme Adviser
Helen achieved an MSc and BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at Hartpury College, on graduating she took up a position at the British Horse Society where she was promoted to Head of Welfare, after 4 years in this position she then took over the British Riding Clubs, Competitions and Tourism department. Helen married in December 2008 and moved back to Pembrokeshire and joined Intelligent Worming since being with the company she has obtained her SQP qualification. Helen’s spare time is spent looking after her daughter,two ponies, dogs and goose!
Sarah Riordan
Equine Programme Advisor
Sarah moved down to South West Wales from Scotland in January 2011 to take up the position of Equine Programme Advisor with Intelligent Worming. Sarah has since gained her AMTRA qualification as an E-SQP, her main responsibilities within the company include programme design and customer service.
Prior to this she has held several roles within the equine industry from managing large livery yards to running a successful tack shop for ten years.
Sarah has always had a keen interest in horses and continued this throughout her years at University. She gained a BSc in Biology and spent her spare time competing for the University Riding Team. Sarah’s horse Mez also made the trip down to Wales and they both enjoy riding through the forestry and taking advantage of the beautiful beaches Wales has to offer. They are always accompanied by Poppy and Fruin Sarah’s two Jack Russells. Poppy and Fruin come to the office every day and have become a cherished part of the Intelligent Worming Team.
Nicola Cowley
Equine Programme Advisor
Nicola joined Intelligent Worming as an Equine Programme Advisor in October 2011. She achieved a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at Hartpury College. On graduating she has been working in the Equine Nutrition Industry, which included spending over three years in Kentucky at a Nutrition and Exercise Physiology Research Centre. Nicola has also gained lots of hands on horse experience, including grooming at various large yards in the dressage and eventing disciplines, bringing on young horses and gaining her BHS Stage 3.
Nicola’s spare time is spent riding her horse and keeping him in peak condition for when she competes in eventing, show jumping and dressage competitions.
Keeley Lane
Equine Programme Advisor
Keeley joined Intelligent Worming in January 2011 as an Equine Programme Advisor, she has since then been on maternity leave, has a delightful little girl and is now back at work.
After completing her A-levels, she left school to ride for a dressage yard in the Lake District. Whilst she was there she completed her NVQ 2 in Equine Business and began her teacher training. She has since worked and managed various types of yards including eventing, hunting and racing, as well as studying accountancy at college. Keeley’s previous experience includes sales and marketing and accountancy.
She has a keen interest in eventing and racing and enjoys re-training ex race horses, ready to go onto other disciplines including show jumping, dressage, eventing and showing. She currently has four of her own horses that she is either competing on a regular basis or bringing on for the future.

Simon Daniels
Technical Manager
Simon joined Intelligent Worming as a Knowledge Transfer Partner Associate from the department of Veterinary Science at the University of Liverpool in July 2010. He has had a varied equine career including practical, theory and academia. Simon completed a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at the University of Lincoln, with a focus on equine nutrition and gastroenterology; upon graduation he gained employment as an Equine Nutritionist at Allen & Page for 3 years.
Simon is now Technical Manager at Intelligent Worming, he is also actively researching anthelmintic resistance with the University of Liverpool.
Outside of work Simon has a keen interest in eventing, he has a young horse, which he bought as an un-backed 3 year old, after a lot of time and effort spent backing and training he is now starting to reap the rewards. Muffin is now 7 and out competing at show jumping, dressage and hunter trials, he hopes to start eventing this season.

Leon Paoletta
Operations Controller
Leon joined Intelligent Worming in June 2011 as our Operations Controller. Leon has been working within the financial services industry for the past 6 years both customer facing and behind the scenes. Leon has been tasked to aid the implementation of our new and improved software systems in order for Intelligent Worming to make continuous improvements to offer the best services possible to all our customers. He also heads our credit control and system maintenance.
In his spare time, Leon is a keen Liverpool FC fan and enjoys long walks on the Golf course.

Tanya Edwards
Distribution Co-ordinator
Tanya left Ysgol Y Preseli in 1997 having completed A-Levels, she then completed and passed two years of a History Degree. Since 1999 Tanya worked in the catering and hospitality industry, before starting a family in 2003 and becoming a full time mum. Tanya enjoys sports and has a real passion for painting and drawing.

India Latter
Customer Accounts Administrator
India graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a HND in business management and has joined the Intelligent Worming team as part of the Customer Service team dealing with customer accounts.
India enjoys spending her spare time riding her show ponies and competing on them, she has enjoyed many appearances at Horse of the Year Show as well as being second place at the 2009 event. Throughout 2009 India worked for Team Thomas who travel the country all year competing at shows, the team lifted the supreme title at last years HOYS and India still helps out now on the weekends.
Letitia Mason
Programme Administrator
After leaving Dyffryn Teifi School in 2005 Letitia started an apprenticeship with Thomson as Sales Consultant and gained full qualifications in the travel sector. Later she became a foreign exchange bureau clerk and mentor to new apprenticeships. After working in Greece for a year in Customer Services she returned to work as a Service Manager for a growing, non profit charity in Ceredigion. She joined Intelligent Worming in June 2011.
In her spare time, Letitia likes socialising, being part of the local Young Farmers Club, interior design and she loves all animals, especially her gorgeous puppy Alfie.
